Hey Old Friends...
We're done school.
And this it the first post that I have posted since we finished. I still can't believe that we're done - it really doesn't feel like it. Does anyone agree? I mean, it feels like we're still going to go through those crazy 14 hour long days and boring English classes (which I passed, thank God). But then I realized that we're done 14 hour days for the next 4 months, and that in fact, WE ARE SECOND YEARS, and we're going to have our very own firsties, and we get the huge dance studio......but not for another 4 months. That is also a little difficult to believe - the fact that we won't be in the green-house for, well, pretty much a whole semester. We're going to be missing out on people for a whole semester, so EMAILS and PHONE CALLS and actually getting together over the summer, not just saying that we're going to and then never seeing each other. But this group will hang out, I know we will. We're pretty attached, wouldn't you say? I mean we have gone through a FEW things together and we've KIND OF grown close and SEMI-inseperable. I mean, hell, we've been done school for less than a week and already we're hung out 3 times and are planning many more get togethers. It's awesome. We're going to get really sick of each other, but it's alright. If we haven't killed each other yet, then I think we're in the clear.
End of the year BBQ was such an awesome idea and such a great success. It was too much fun. Good food, great people, games and lying in the sun. Sun burns (Jay Jay) and then water fights. I loved it. We must all do that again soon...maybe when everyone gets back from going to their respective homes we can have a welcome back BBQ. Awesome idea, 'Ceto. Do it.
Passover (not PUSH over) is still upon us Jews. It's my favorite Jewish holiday, I must say. The angel of death is still passing over and I'm waiting for the results of his speed test. Watch out for the aliens and the Rabbi at the end of the rainbow. Don't ask.
Lazer tag ROCKED. Code name: Jesus. Yep, how could I resist? I did alright, 9 in the first game, 8 in the second. It was crazy fun. Then good food at Hooters, as well as some pretty crazy conversation. (Note the paragraph above).
Yesterday was filled with crazy driving, finding our way to the Hoja concert in Belvedere, then to Whyte Ave. then to Cole and Blake's, then to the mall. We were late, because I always am. But that's another story, which I won't get into.
Good days off so far, and I start Intro to Sociology on Monday. I'm really glad that I'll have it done for the first semester.
Dee's leaving tomorrow. Can't actually believe it. It's pretty weird that everyone is actually going home, especially this soon. Well I think that tomorrow is soon...too soon, if you ask me.
Drink water during Passover.
Matza is bad for the system.
Hopefully my people knew that in the desert.
They were wandering for 40 years.
You wouldn't want to look for a bathroom for that long.
No flour, corn, yeast, or rice.
But water.
Water indeed.
Just in case you were curious.
